If the KMS thing did get me involuntarily involved on a Bitcoin farm that would benefit the creator of the code alone, I’m pretty sure the fans on my laptop would have sounded close to that of a jet’s, though when I open up task manager it seems normal, with nothing reaching 30% usage after booting my laptop up and appears as normal, and the fans don’t even reach high RPMs until I play games like CS:GO (I have an HP Envy with an 8th Gen i7 and an NVIDIA mx150, it’s not really made for gaming). I think I’ve been super lucky with this whole thing, as I haven’t noticed any hit in terms of performance on my laptop.
